Are you a mum returning to work after a career break, facing the daunting task of finding a job with limited recent work experience? Or are you looking for a flexible working option that suits your life and family? Either way, you’re not alone. At Between Mums, we understand the challenges you may encounter and are here to support you in your journey back to the workforce.

We’re excited to share here volunteering options. These opportunities not only provide a chance to develop new skills and make valuable connections but also support the important mission of various organisations.

We also share links to fantastic flexible working groups and communities below. Between Mums is on a mission to empower mums to reclaim their value, update their skills, and thrive in their professional journey.

Whether you love recycling, are a keen composter, rampant repairer or brilliant at avoiding food waste, this campaign is for you. What is it about?

*Support residents with reducing, reusing, repairing, composting and recycling.

*No experience needed, full training is provided.

*It’s entirely up to you how much time you offer (you only need to commit to a minimum of 30 hours of volunteering over the year).

*Choose which parts of the programme you would like to support (e.g stands at events, delivering talks and workshops to schools and community groups).

*Volunteers should live in, or near, Buckinghamshire.

Here are some skills a mum can develop by joining this volunteering opportunity: Communication skills, Community Engagement, Public Speaking, Teaching and Facilitation, Environmental Awareness.
